The Tremiti Islands are a wonderful place, and often poorly known. In fact, in addition to famous tourist places, these islands offer many hidden and little known corners, that can hardly be visited in one day, but that merit a longer stay of at least 2-3 days.
The archipelago, made up of the islands of San Nicola, San Domino and Caprara, as well as of the Cretaccio and La Vecchia rocks, can be reached by sea. Once you arrive to the land, you may want to go to the discovery of the historical and architectural part of the island, or perhaps to trek in the Mediterranean maquis, or to dive into the crystal-clear waters, alone or with an instructor, to admire the archaeological relics of the seabed and Caribbean waters of this stretch of sea.
The Tremiti Islands are also synonymous with romance and breathtaking views: an interesting alternative for those traveling as a couple would be to rent an inflatable raft or other type of boat, exploring the island and its picturesque scenery.
Among the most beautiful beaches that are worth visiting, we cite Pagliai, Cala dei Fucili, Cala Spido, Cala degli Inglesi... and of course the many coves present throughout the island
